Canada is amazing and we are lucky to live here.  We all know that. 

Amazing or not, Canada is not immune to many of the major issues facing the rest of the world.

Like discrimination and the environment.

Then there are the oligopolies like the airlines, the big chartered banks, and the cellular phone companies that take, and take and take from us, before they turn around and take a little more. 

And let’s not forget our politicians.  The one group elected by all of us to remedy all these issues and they always seem to do just the bare minimum to keep us from taking too much of an interest.

WorkForOurVotes was founded on the basic premise that Canadians are good people who don’t like to complain, and the politicians and oligopolies know and take advantage of this. 

We wanted to provide a place where Canadians could learn more about these issues, and then connect with other Canadians to work towards change, including contacting the politicians to let them know what we want done.

To all Canadians we urge: Connect.  Collaborate. Change.

And to the politicians we say: Don’t take us for granted…work for our votes.
